Almost all operating instructions and remote controls can be found in the built-in cupboard in the passage between the kitchen and dining area, the info cupboard. You can find more information about the checkout here.
Internet & Media
Fast WIFI is made possible by several routers. You will find the password for the WIFI in the cupboard between the kitchen and living room.
Internet access via Telenet Belgium is set up for high load and data volume at 1000mbit/s. Simultaneous streaming on several devices should be possible without any problems.
If there are any disruptions, there is a hotline (+32) (0)15 66 66. You will find our customer number in the cupboard between the kitchen and living room.
All televisions are connected to the Internet. You can select various apps via the remote control using the house icon. Of course, you can also transfer your own content from your smartphone, tablet or laptop via the corresponding LG apps (screen mirroring).
Since the cable programme of Telenet is fed into Villa Vosje, there is only television reception for Belgian television, unfortunately also only in the living room. However, German public television channels can be received via PrimeVideo (installed).
You can also use your own access via the HDMI connections by stick (Chromecast, FireTV, etc.) or wired. In the living room, the connections are in the cupboard below the fireplace.
However, please make sure that after your departure all devices are usable again as intended for the next guest.
There is a separate button for Netflix on the remote control. There are several „users“ so that you can watch in different rooms at the same time. You can adjust the language (French, German or English) in the Netflix settings.
Important: You must not use your own Netflix account via this app, because otherwise you will delete the settings for other users.
The Netflix password for the connection is stored in the device. We cannot pass on the access data for legal reasons. If there is a problem, please contact us by phone or email.
You can access Disney+ via the house symbol on the TV remote control.
Amazon Prime is available. This allows you to select films and also watch German TV channels (ARD, ZDF, Dritte, 3SAT and many more). Sometimes you have to select „Free for me“ in the menu for this.
Unfortunately, the language setting of the user interface cannot be changed with Prime. However, you can select other languages via audio settings when watching films.
In the built-in cupboard there is a BOSE subwoofer box that can be controlled via Bluetooth with your smartphone. Please use this box only inside Villa Vosje (not outside the house!).
With the Internet radio in the kitchen, you can select a station via FM, Internet, or stream your favourite music via smartphone, e.g. via your Spotify account.
Please do not save any additional stations.
The Edifier stereo speakers are located in the foosball-room at the side of the black sofa. They work via a Bluetooth connection (EDIFIER R1280DB), for example with your smartphone. As soon as the devices are paired, music can be played through the speakers. There is also a small remote control for volume control, which should be on the side table.
House & Yard
In the information cabinet you will find the remote control for the garage doors. In the garage, there is a central remote control in the centre pillar that can be used to open and close all the gates.
In an emergency, the access gate can also be opened from the outside via a code on the keypad. You will find the code for this in the information cabinet.
Before switching on the fireplace: It is essential that the door from the kitchen into the entrance area is closed, otherwise the door will be damaged by the heat!
The gas fireplace is operated via a remote control. To switch it on, press both upper buttons (arrow keys) until the fireplace has ignited. This is exactly how you switch the fireplace off again. Since it is designed as a heater, it is possible that the fireplace switches off when the target temperature in the room is reached. However, you can then switch it on again.
The detailed instructions and the remote control for the gas fireplace are in the information cabinet.
To light the barbecue, you must first turn on the tap of the gas bottle. This must also be turned off again when finished grilling!
The Weber gas barbecue has a piezo ignition that produces a spark when you press the button on the outside left and ignites the gas as soon as you turn the gas regulator to the left under pressure. After ignition, one can release the gas regulator in the desired position. Further grill sections can then be switched on in the same way.
Please clean the grill grates after use! You can take them out, please loosen coarse dirt.
Cleaning is not included in the final house cleaning! The easiest way is to remove the grates and clean them with the brush and remove grease and dirt with a paper towel (Zewa). In the case of dried-on residues, it makes sense to loosen them first. Unfortunately, the material is not dishwasher safe.
It is currently not possible to open the shading in the outdoor area (lounge corner) electrically.
Kitchen
The hob is an induction hob. It may only be used with the induction-compatible pots and pans provided.
Place the pan or saucepan on the desired hob. To activate the hob, tap the 1. A digital utility panel then appears for selecting the hotplates. When you have selected the desired plate, you can set the desired heat using the digital control.
Caution: as soon as the heat setting has been accepted, the controller switches to operating the extractor fan. To change the temperature of the hob, you must select the hob again.
To exit, press the off button or turn the heat down to 0.
The Bora extractor fan is integrated centrally in the hob. It can be started via the propeller icon in the digital touch menu and can be turned up and down by the central control slider.
Caution: When the cooking process is ended, the Bora system continues to run. Please do not switch it off, it does this by itself.
There’s a COSORI Airfryer on the shelf in the laundry room. The operating instructions are in the TV cupboard along with all other instruction manuals. After use, the container of must be cleaned. The fryer’s insert can be removed. Both parts of the container can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

The dryer is a heat pump dryer. The water is drained automatically. You can find the operating instructions in the info cupboard or as a PDF file online here.
The water connections at floor level are not drinking water.
Checkout / Departure
We hope you had a good time at Villa Vosje and we would be happy to welcome you again. When you leave us, please consider the following:
– Have you packed up all the things you brought with you?
– The dishwasher must be emptied.
– Please take all the food you have brought with you out of the fridge and freezer. Do not leave anything behind (even if it is well-intentioned).
– Please return the cushions of the terrace lounge furniture to the house or garage.
– Do not leave clothes in the washing machine or tumble dryer.
In the garage, there are bins. Please dispose of your waste accordingly in the waste bin, the waste bag or the waste paper bag.
If possible, please put your glass waste in the container. This is located 400 metres from Villa Vosje (see Violierenlaan 12). If not, put your glass waste next to the bins in the garage.
If we are not there in person:
1. Close all windows and lock the garden door.
2. Lock the front door.
3. Deposit 1 key/remote control in the safe.
4. Close garage door (remote control inside) or via keypad.
5. Close roller shutter via keypad
